Anonymous asked: OK, so not really looking for a recommendation but today the Bachman books by Stephen King (The Long Walk, Roadwork & The Running Man) arrived from Amazon but Mockingjay (from the Hunger Games Trilogy) won't be hear until Friday and I don't know whether to start The Long Walk or wait until Friday
Start The Long Walk so that you can prolong the Hunger Games series. Mockingjay is not worth the wait, imo, but obviously, you have to read it.

This is a good idea! I already do this, but yeah, great blog, great people.
“I wanted to tell the book thief many things, about beauty and brutality. But what could I tell her that she didn’t already know? I wanted to explain that I am constantly overestimating and underestimating the human race—that rarely do I simply estimate it. I wanted to ask her how the same thing could be so ugly and so glorious, and its words and stories so damning and brilliant….I am haunted by humans.”
-Death (The Book Thief by Markus Zusak)
The Book Thief is an amazing book. I nearly cried at it. This illustration is a lovely depiction of Liesel and Death, and I definitely recommend both the book and checking out cinderellainrubbershoes’s blog!
Normally I don’t reblog stuff from “weheartit”, but this is just awesome.
Reblog this post if…
- You choose to curl up and read a book instead of watching the new MTV drama.
- You actually read the books you are assigned in school.
- You own more than one book case.
- You become furious and give long rants to your friends when Hollywood messes up a book.
- You refuse to buy and e-reader because you like the feel of a book in your hands and the experience of walking around a book store.
- Your on a first name basis with the librarian.

My name is Kara and I’m an avid reader. I love reading, I love the memories books give me, and I love sharing them with others! That’s why I made this blog.
Basically, how this blog is intended to work is that you message me the type of books you like, how many suggestions you want (not too many, please!), and maybe a book or two that you’ve enjoyed recently, and I will respond with some suggestions.
1… 2… 3… read!
